Beam

The room is dark. Your laser lights up every square it crosses, showing walls and targets as it finds them. Tap a lit square to place a mirror, again to flip it, and a third time to remove it. Light every target at once in as few taps as you can.

How to play Beam

Every day there's a new dark room. A laser fires in from the left wall, and a few targets are hidden somewhere inside. Your goal is to light all of them at the same time.

Mirrors

Tap a square to put a mirror on it. Tap again to flip it the other way, and a third time to take it off. The beam turns a corner wherever it meets a mirror.

You only get so many mirrors each day. The counter at the top shows how many you've used.

The dark

At the start you can see one thing: the laser's first straight line across the room. Every square the beam crosses lights up and stays lit, and that's how you find walls and targets.

Mirrors can only go on squares you've already lit. So you work your way into the room one bounce at a time, seeing a bit more with each move.

Walls stop the beam. Targets don't, so the beam passes straight through them and keeps going.

Winning

You win when every target glows green at once. Lighting one and then moving its mirror away doesn't count.

Your score is the number of taps it took, and lower is better. Tapping a dark square doesn't cost anything, since nothing happens.

Through the week

Monday is a small 5×5 room with 2 mirrors. The rooms get bigger as the week goes on, and by Sunday you're in an 8×8 room with 6 mirrors and 5 targets to find.
